10:10pm: NZ
august 25 is the day that i am moving to new zealand. yayay!!

i'll be staying for a year, maybe more, hopefully not less than that. i was driving today and thinking about NZ vs US in terms of enjoyable things, and this is the list i came up with:

things to look forward to in NZ in descending order of importance:

-boyfriend who is already there
-hokey pokey ice cream
-legal drinking age (18)
-scenery (pretty!)
-public transportation
-everything is cheaper
-minimum wage is = to US$ 12.00/hour
-people love my accent!
-everyone skank dances, i will finally be able to show off my skank dancing skills
-liquor, souvlaki and indian food always in walking distance of anywhere
-british television

things i will miss about the US in descending order of importance:

-grandpa (parents dont count, they are in germany anyway)
-my cat (i have to leave him here boohoo)
-more than 4 channels on the television
-familiar surroundings
-driving (leaving my car here too)


im sure i will add to this list as i think of more. on another note, i can't wait to go to ikea and buy tons of cheap furniture for our apartment!!

Well it's been awhile, but I figure I want to put this LJ to use for once! I purged all my old entries, and I'm making this into an art blog to hold my random art dumps. Don't worry, they'll all be behind an LJ cut! they'll mostly be WoW fanart anyway =/
